E&am;p reports that Continental Features is launching two new features entitled Gilley & Wynn by Daryl Jay Frank’s and Blackouts by Ellsworth E. Jackson. A quick search for cartoon samples could not be found.

Retro Geek ends run

Retro Geek, the newly launched feature by Steve Dickenson and Todd Clark has ended as of yesterday’s strip. According to Jan Guszynski, Director of Marketing for Tribune Media Services, the two creators made a decision to pursue other joint and independent projects.

Universal Press syndicates “Magic in a Minute”

Magic in a Minute, a how-to comic on magic is now available through Universal Press Syndicate. This Sunday only feature, by Mac King (a Las Vegas magician) and illustrated by Bill King (Mac’s cousin), teaches children how to perform magic tricks.
