The following entails The Daily Cartoonist’s position on visitor privacy and discloses what information is collected and how that information is used.
I use analytical software to help me understand how visitors use this blog. This software uses the visitor’s IP address to determine what pages were visited; where the visitor came from before landing on this blog; what search terms were used to find this blog; how long a visitor stayed; and what links were clicked.
Email addresses used to post a comment are stored in a database, but are regarded as private and will never be sold or divulged to 3rd parties. I reserve the right to contact you if I need to, but never in the context of trying to advertise to you.
Most posts will contain links to other web sites. I am not responsible for the content of such sites or their privacy policies.
I use third party advertising companies to display ads on this site. These companies may use cookies to track which ads you’ve seen or how many times an ad has been seen. They do not have access to any unique identifying information about you.
Participating in the comments is highly suggested. Please note that any information that you provide (except your email address) becomes public information and you should use caution when determining what personal information you make available. I am not responsible for any information that you make public, and in only extreme circumstances do I ever remove a comment, so please be kind and prudent.
