Zunar to speak at UN forum on Malaysian laws silence critics

Zulkifli Anwar Ulhaque, better known as Zunar, will be speaking at a United Nations forum on human rights next month. From this story in the Malay Mail Online, he’s hitting back at the Malaysian government that has harassed, confiscated his books and cartoons, and charged him on sedition for years.

?I will explain in detail… some people think Malaysia is a democratic country but I want to tell and expose how the government uses a law to intimidate and how they use the judiciary to detain a political prisoner,? he said in reference to jailed Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
