Ben Wicks’ collection donated to Toronto University

The cartoon custody battle over Ben Wicks’ cartoons was resolved in 2007 and the family has decided to donate the collection to York University in Toronto. The collection has 2,500 cartoons dating from the late 1960s and early 1970s. Ben died in 2000. The cartoons were originally lost when the family moved homes in the 1992 and accidently left them behind. The family was awarded ownership of the cartoons after a legal battle.
