Scott Kurtz’s PVP celebrates 10 year anniversary

Yesterday Scott Kurtz’s PVP, one of the first successful webcomics, has turned 10 years old.

Regarding the anniversary Scott wrote on his blog:

I never expected PvP to take me here. This wasn’t planned. It was just a temporary gig. It wasn’t supposed to be the idea that took me anywhere. When I posted that first strip, in May of 1998, I sincerely never dreamed it would inspire you to afford me a decade of this bliss.

Another impressive feat for the feature is that the feature has been running daily this last decade, a rarity for webcomics.

Look what happens when you treat you webcomic like a syndicated professional treats their strip: A SUCCESSFUL FEATURE!

Congrats Scott. You’re history in the making…
