From the Portrait Society of America Facebook page:

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we share the news that Everett Raymond Kinstler passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019 after a brief illness.

Famed portrait artist and magazine and book illustrator
Everett Raymond Kinstler began his career as a pulp and comic book artist.

Kinstler worked on comic books from the early 1940s to the early 1960s.
He particularly shined on the covers and inside cover montages of comic books where the slick paper reproduced his pen and ink lines far better than the pulp paper of comic book interiors.

Terry Beatty and Ron Harris spotlight more of Everett Raymond Kinstler’s comic book work.

Go to the Everett Raymond Kinstler homepage for more about his career.
