Penny Arcade debuts first episode of Strip Search

Earlier last year, the Penny Arcade creators Jerry Holkins, Mike Krahulik and Robert Kho, president of operations and business development, launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise enough money to eliminate ads from their website. One of the stretch goals was to create a contest to find a worthy up-and-coming cartoonist. The contest, which was already conducted late last year, was set up and filmed as a reality TV show. The first episode debuts today:

You can get more information about the participants over at the show’s website.

  1. The girls are hot! I’ll watch. ha ha ha

    But I would’ve watched anyways:0)

  2. Should bring some great eyeballs to the field of webcomics, it can be such a diverse and fun set of work! I tossed my entry into this as many folks did, and I can’t wait to see this series!

  3. Hopefully there’ll be some entrails eating contests involved. You can’t have reality without it. Or webcomics.
