The Orange County Register Previews NCS Fest

Going on in its own back yard, The Orange County Register has published a piece on this weekend’s NCS Fest.

From the piece:

Scattered through the panels and presentations of the weekend are stars such as Cathy Guisewhite of the comic strip “Cathy,” Stephan Pastis of “Pearls Before Swine,” and Jeff Keane who took over “The Family Circus” after the death of his father and the cartoon’s creator Bil Keane.

Graphic novelists such as Daniel Clowes of “Ghost World” or Jaime and Gilbert Hernandez of “Love and Rockets” will be there as will be such comic book stars as writer Ed Brubaker of “Batman,” “The Fade Out” and “Criminal” and artist and Mad magazine executive editor Bill Morrison of “The Simpsons” and the recent graphic novel adaptation of the Beatles’ “Yellow Submarine.”
