2006 Lurie Political Cartoon Award winners posted
I’m not sure when the Ranan Lurie Political Cartoon Award was announced, but on his web site there are the 2006 winners. First place went to Alfredo Sabat for Argentina. Second and third place went to: Jean Planteureux (France) and David Pope (Australia). There were a few Canadian and American cartoonist who received Citations of Excellence: Graeme MacKay (The Hamilton Spectator, Canada), Jeff Stahler (Columbus Dispatch), Clay Bennett (The Christian Science Monitor), Tom Stiglich
(U.S.A. Today), Steve Greenberg (Ventura County Star), and Andrew Wahl (The Wenarchee World).
