He reports that Aleksandr Sdvishkov, who was the editor of the Zgoda weekly newspaper in Belarus has been sentenced to three years in a high-security prison for “incitement f religious hatred” after publishing the famed Danish Muhammed cartoons in February of 2006.
The United Nations has opened up a special exhibit of editorial cartoons in Rome Italy yesterday to call attention to human rights issues, war, hunger and religious extremism.
