Writer, Comic Historian

D.D. Degg is a lifelong comics reader whose journey began with Harvey titles like Stumbo and Sad Sack in childhood and a “Marvel Zombie” phase in his teens. Discovering The Penguin Book of Comics by George Perry and Alan Aldridge created an insatiable urge to study comics of every kind. Since 2018, Degg has shared his deep knowledge of comics and its history as a writer and editor to The Daily Cartoonist.
