Lee Nordling’s comic strip syndication seminar has been placed on hold for the immediate future. As I wrote on Toontalk.org, the frat-like location I’d planned on holding the seminar in apparently sustained some fire damage a short while ago, something I only recently discovered.He also writes that he is working to find another suitable location.
E&P is reporting that the first Comic-Con in New York will feature Patrick McDonnell, creator of ‘Mutts’.Among the Comic-Con’s “special guests” will be “Mutts” creator Patrick McDonnell of King Features Syndicate. Also, King will be among hundreds of exhibitors at the event (www.nycomiccon.com). The convention will be held Feb. 24-26 at Manhattan’s Jacob Javits Center.
