Aaron McGruder’s The Boondocks animated TV show has won a Peabody Award for his “Return of the King” installment that depicted Martin Luther King, Jr, reawakening to today’s cultural society of gangsta rap and the war on terror.The awards will be presented on June 4th in New York City.

Minnesota Public Radio to interview Matt Davies

It looks like The Journal News editorial cartoonist Matt Davies is scheduled to appear on Minnesota Public radio to discuss the challenges of covering the war in editorial cartooning.
