More than a 100 examples of original Dick Tracy cartoons will be on display at a new exhibit called the “The Art of Dick Tracy: 75 Years of Crooks, Dames and Fedoras” at the Chester Gould-Dick Tracy Museum on June 22.
Wiley Miller (Non Sequitur), Corey Pandolph (Bark Eater Lake/Elderberries), Lincoln Pierce (Big Nate) will be paneling a discussion at this year’s Maine Festival of the Book on June 22-24. The festival is organized by a non-profit organization to support literacy in Maine.
The Virginia-Pilot is “running out of space for comic strips” and so is looking to throw one feature overboard and have suggested to its readers that it will either be Rex Morgan M.D. or Doonesbury.
