John Rose to host art show

Barney Google and Snuffy Smith cartoonist John Rose will host an art show on September 5 in Bristol VA during a Lions Club District conference. John will draw Snuffy characters and political caricatures (he’s also an editorial cartoonist in Harrisonburg, VA) for the public.

Pat McCarthy Dies at 76

E&P is reporting that former Amarillo (Texas) Globe-News cartoonist Pat McCarthy died last Tuesday at the age of 76. Pat was the editorial cartoonist as well as graphic artist for the Globe-News and according to Amarill.com he was also did book illustrations and greeting cards.
