David Fitzsimmons, editorial cartoonist for the Arizona Daily Star, has created a “Best of Fitz” calendar for 2007. He’ll be personalizing and signing copies at the newspaper’s office on Saturday Dec 2 from 2-4 pm. Cost of the calendar is $6.95.

E&P’s Dave Astor interviewed several editorial cartoonists about whether they believe the incidents of plagiarism has been on the increase with the rise of the internet. The response was that it hasn’t. Cartoonists also opine on why there seems to be so many common ideas generated by editorial cartoonists.
