New Comic: Rina’s Odd Little Page
Skip to commentsIt took 3 decades but GoComics has finally landed a Rina Piccolo comic.
Piccolo’s Rina’s Odd Little Page landed today with an instant 11 week archive.

Rachel DeSchepper at the GoComics blog interviews Piccolo to explain the new comic:
“Since around 2005, I’ve been doodling and writing in little sketchbooks every day, like a diary. Sometimes I draw my own life, sometimes I write and test out ideas, or just express myself and my own experiences with doodles and words. You could say it’s therapeutic—it’s highly personal, but also hugely fun.
“Other people in my life have seen parts of my journals, and they always express wonder and interest in seeing more. I really believe the practice has made my imagination grow and flourish—and over the past few years, I’ve wanted to somehow take that daily exercise and package it up in a way that other people could read and enjoy. For years I’ve wanted to do a weekly webcomic, and so I asked myself, “Why not do what I do in my daily journal, but neater and more developed?” I needed something that could be a home to the wildest ideas that don’t fit anywhere else—like a page in a journal where almost anything goes.”

Piccolo is seen regularly as Hilary Price’s partner on Rhymes With Orange at Comics Kingdom. Over the years she has created Tina’s Groove for King Features and the webcomic Velia, Dear and single panel cartoons for The New Yorker, Parade, Glamour Magazine, The Reader’s Digest, and other magazines.
I became aware of the new comic by way of Piccolo’s occasional (the last entry was April 2026) substack where she informed us:
“What can I tell you about my Odd Little Page? It’s a weekly full-page splash of comics, drawings, stories, and other diversions — all drawn with traditional materials (ink, watercolour, graphite, paint, and occasional mud). There will be shenanigans.”

Piccolo has a request of fans:
“Anyhow, as excited as I am about the launch, it would send me over the moon if you, dear reader, would follow my Odd Little Page and help support my work. It’s super easy to sign up for a free account on GoComics (link below), and you’d not only be supporting my work, you’d also get access to a ton more comics from other hard-working humans. There’s no AI crap on GoComics.”
Piccolo’s Rina’s Odd Little Page appears every Friday at GoComics.
To quote a circus poster, “A splendid time is guaranteed for all.”
