There have been some questions wondering if the GoComics rerun week will run into Sunday.
No, it will not.
Sunday production is done a few weeks before the dailies.
But a couple questions arise from that.
Was the Sunday production interrupted?
Two weeks from this Sunday is Christmas Day.
Will that be filled with Christmas Sunday strips from 2016?
This is also the season where time sensitive strips are being issued. They can’t just move all the dailies back a week, that would play havoc with the timing of all the Christmas and New Year’s strips. So were cartoonists using their “free” week rescheduling and rearranging the strips leading up to the holidays? Dropping some evergreen/winter strips so the holiday strips are timely?

I also hope that Sunday and the coming days Peanuts resumes the 1975 cycle leading into the 1976 Peanuts strip cycle.
