Finalists Named for 2021 NCS Divisional Awards

The National Cartoonists Society has revealed the finalists for the various Divisional Awards for their 76th Annual Reuben Dinner.

All of these divisions were juried by regional NCS chapters and specialty juries.
The results were tallied to arrive at these final nominees.

The nominees for 2021 creativity are:

Comic Book: Trish Forstner; Gideon Kendall; David Peterson

Gag Cartoons: Emily Flake; Amy Hwang; Christopher Weyant

Greeting Card: Scott Jensen; Scott Metzger; Scott Nickel

Graphic Novel: Juan Cavia; Ted Naifeh; Eric Powell

Editorial Cartoons: Ruben Bolling; Marco DeAngelis; Michael Ramirez

Book Illustration: Keith Bendis; Stacy Curtis; Rebecca Morgan

Newspaper Comic Strips: Hector Cantu; John Hambrock; Mark Tatulli

Newspaper Panels: Dave Blazek; Dave Coverly; Hilary Price

Variety Entertainment: Chuck Dillon; Bill Morrison; Johnny Sampson

Art for Animated Media: Chris & Shane Houghton; Lindsey Olivares; Meg Park
