Comic Strip of the Day

CSotD: Keeping faith

One reason I can pull up strips for "Classic" postings is that, before I started the blog, I would save strips that I found particularly amusing or thought-provoking. I rarely do that anymore, since I post them here. But I'm certainly going to keep a copy of today's Sinfest.

I've got nothing to add except to recommend that, if you want some verbal tie-in to the holiday, go read Charlie Pierce's piece over at Esquire about the difference between staging fly-overs at ball games and actually "supporting the troops" with something more tangible than applause.

Or check the pulse of the veterans themselves, over at the Christian Science Monitor.

For my part, I think Ishida said it best in this cartoon.
