» La Prensa, an Ohio latino publication, writes about Hector D. Cantu and Carlos Castellanos efforts to use their comic strip Baldo to education and fight against hispanic stereotypes.

» I’ve mentioned before that Richard Thompson is drawing the cover for the November Nickelodeon magazine. He’s posted a preview. The magazine hits the stands October 21.

» Dennis the Menace cartoonist Marcus Hamiliton was recently in his hometown of Lexington, NC to speak to a local Presbyterian church about his work and career. The Dispatch has an excellent write up.

» By the time you’re reading this, the auctions have been closed for some early For Better or For Worse (and pre-FBOFW) books that are being sold on Ebay. But it’s not too late to pick up some Dog Eat Doug originals.

» Paul Gilligan continues to work on the treatment for an animated Pooche Cafe film.

» Frank Cho, of Liberty Meadows fame, is interviewed by Comic Book Resources for his continued work on Jungle Girl.

Richard’s piece for Nickelodeon is INSIDE the magazine – it’s the cover to the comic section inside. So don’t look for that cover on the newstand – just buy the November issue.
