The New Adventures of Queen Victoria has a minimalist style, to say the least, and, as a webcomic, a rapid-response capability that print comics should envy.
I really like today's strip, but I suspect that there is a link between the progressives' penchant for self-criticism and their inability to hold power. Conservative cartoonists never eat their own.
Certainly, the world would be a better place if people looked to media to provoke thought and conversation instead of simply to confirm their existing opinions, but that's not the route political power follows. Never has been, never will be.
But this? This is how humor is supposed to work.
