Bob Muirhead has passed away at the early age of 66 – four years after suffering a debilitating stroke. Bob provided weekly editorial cartoons for the Observer for nearly 20 years while working his day job as a school counselor.

Last March I reported that syndicated editorial cartoonist Bill Schorr had decided to leave editorial cartooning (he was syndicated through United Media). Daryl Cagle announced yesterday that Bill has returned to cartooning and will now be syndicated through Cagle Cartoons.
