Down Under Uproar Over Animated Political Cartoon

In West Australia the right-wing party One Nation targeted the right-wing Liberal Party (yeah, this is Australia where the Liberal Party are the conservatives) instead of the liberal Labor Party.
It is the first non-Labor electorate One Nation has targeted in the state.
But the bid has taken a particularly personal twist, with leader Pauline Hanson criticising Mr Hastie, a special forces veteran, for deciding to testify in a war-crimes case against Victorian Cross recipient Ben Roberts-Smith.
The battle for the federal seat escalated when Andrew Liberal Hastie accused One Nation Hanson of calling him a traitor:
“I’ve never called him a traitor,” [Hanson] told The Nightly. “I will call him a wanker.”
Suddenly a 9 minute animated cartoon from Hanson’s social media took center stage in the fight for Australia’s political right wing.
Shadow industry minister Andrew Hastie has branded One Nation leader Pauline Hanson and MP Barnaby Joyce “lying cowards” for claiming they did not call him a “traitor”.
Mr Hastie has been drawn into another fight with One Nation after the party’s popular ‘Please Explain’ cartoon series labelled him a “traitor” eight times.

Now One Nation is being split on whether the cartoon went too far or not.
While One Nation’s Barnaby Joyce has apologized, One Nation’s Hanson has doubled down with a 36 minute animation compilation titled Top 10 Please Explain Cartoons.
