2026 Eisner Award Winners
Skip to commentsThe Eisner Award winners were officially announced Friday night at the Sand Diego Comic Con (the results of the voting had unintentionally been revealed earlier in the week).
The Will Eisner Hall of Fame inductees had been honored earlier during the Comic Con. This year the Judges’ Choice inductees were Bob Bolling, Gerry Conway, Denys Cowan, Edwina Dumm, Mike Friedrich, Oliver Harrington, Don Heck, Abe Kanegson, Lee Marrs, Go Nagai, Paul S. Newman, Hector German Osterheld, Tom Palmer Sr., Bud Plant, Mike Royer, Dave Sim, Jimmy Swinnerton, Carol Tyler, and Rick Veitch. While the four nominees that the Voters’ Selected for the Hall of Fame were Colleen Doran, Jeff Smith, Akira Toriyama, and Chris Ware.

Jenny Blake Isabella and the late Martin Pasko were awarded the 19th annual Bill Finger Award for Excellence in Comic Book Writing.
