Today is May 4th – ‘May the fourth be with you’ day. Not sure how big of a deal it is. Google did not change their logo to commemorate it, but Cul de Sac creator Richard Thompson has posted one of his Richards Poor Almanacs cartoons featuring “The Handy Condensed Version of Star Wars Revenge of the Sith.“

My oldest child insisted on a Leia-style bun braid for school today, so it was a big deal for her.
(I contributed my old gi and a ratty leather belt to cinch it with, completing the ensemble. The nerdy apple hasn’t fallen far from this tree.)
