In summation:
Brooks’ “Best of” gives too much space to “bush-leaguers and second-stringers” and more serious cartoonists no longer contribute to it.
Cagle’s annual didn’t run this year. Check them out online.
Turnblooms’s “Prizewinning” tome is due out in March.
