No, no, I understand Mike Thompson's cartoon.

What I don't get is how you can have a successful "populist" movement that seems to be based on giving rewards to the wealthy and powerful and providing nothing for the common folk. And yet apparently you can.

and yet you Americans laugh at citizens in totalitarian states who mobilize in their thousands to demonstrate on the streets in favour of the despots (and their heir apparent sons)responsible for their abject misery.
At least those guys admit in private it’s all bull.

I think one of the queens was asking why the poor were rioting and someone informed her that they didnt have any bread. So she said something like why dont they have cake then..
