Granted, this Doonesbury sequence is in Trudeau's often-clumsy preachy mode rather than in his more relaxed humorous social-criticism tone, but the idea of carrying a grudge that long, and the implication that it was at least in part a motivation for all the striving, is something I find particularly funny. Not in the least unbelievable, mind you. But funny.
