Girl Genius moves to new print formats

Comic Book Resources reports that Girl Genius creators Phil and Kaja Foglio have announced that their creation would be coming out in several more different formats. The publishing and merchandising deals include:

Night Shade Books will publish a series of Girl Genius prose novels
Brilliance Audio will adapt these novels into audiobooks
Tor will launch their graphic novel line with a color omnibus edition of the first three Girl Genius graphic novels
Girl Genius will be serialized in the Danish magazine Comic Party

Phil and Kaja are fantastic people and I just coud not be happier for their succes. I was hooked on Phil & Dixie back in the day and Girl Genius is truly a work of art. Go, team Foglio!!

I’ve been addicted to Girl Genius since I discovered it only three short years ago. Phil and Kaja have amassed an awesome body of work chock full of juicy steam-punk goodness sprinkled with trilobites and smothered in excellent humor… If you are a comics fan, Girl Genius should be top of your list.
