Sunny with a Chance of Heat by Tim Tyler is a new comic strip that will soon be a part of the Comics Kingdom lineup. It received a bare bones page at the comics site yesterday with no date given for its debut the first strip showing up today.
From the Comics Kingdom description of the strip:
“Welcome to Sunny Acres Mobile Home Park, where everyday life is anything but ordinary. Home to brothers Teddy and Jim Goth, this quirky community is filled with unforgettable characters, bizarre situations and just enough chaos to keep everyone guessing.”
…
“Packed with offbeat humor, lovable oddballs and a healthy dose of the unexpected, Sunny with a Chance of Heat proves that even the smallest town can have the biggest adventures.”
Cartoonist Tyler at his Facebook page told fans the expectation was the strip to be released in September, so there has been a short delay. He also told fans why one of his previous humorous projects was not suitable for possible future newspaper syndication:
“I wish I could go Piggs and stubb……it would be much easier to come up with ideas. The one I have now has to be read by everyone, be funny and yet not offend.”
Good “luck” when searching for “Tim Tyler comic.”
