NCS Announces Time and Place of the 80th Reuben Awards Dinner

The National Cartoonists Society has officially announced the time and place of this year’s Reuben Awards. The 2026 NCS Conference and 80th Annual Reuben Awards Dinner will be held on August 6-8, 2026 in Columbus Ohio, the home of the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library and Museum and the Cartoon Crossroads Columbus festival.

I’m sure there will be events coordinated with The Billy Ireland but it is too bit early for CXC festivities.

The Reuben Awards will be announced on Friday August 7, 2026.

IIRC, CXC is cancelled this year, and will resume as a spring festival. OTOH, the Comics Scholars Society is meeting there earlier in the summer.
