From rtbf (via Google):

Dino Attanasio passed away on January 17, 2026, in his hundredth year. A major figure in Franco-Belgium comics, he was one of the architects of the golden age ofTintin magazine and an early contributor to the emergence of a true European school of comic art. The graphic creator of iconic characters such as Signor Spaghetti, Johnny Goodbye, and the first comic strip version of Bob Morane.

Dino Attanasio had not just attained Senior Stripper status by hitting age 90, he was one of the few over 100.

The Lambiek Comiclopedia has an extensive entry for the cartoonist.

At the time of his death in early 2026, Dino Attanasio was one of the last remaining pioneers of the Golden Age of Franco-Belgian comics. As of 2025, he is the oldest surviving contributor of Tintin magazine, becoming a centenarian that same year. In old age, he remained a regular guest on comic conventions, with his wife (and manager) Joanna always by his side. A highly productive artist with no artistic pretensions, Dino Attanasio leaves behind an impressive body of work, with ‘Spaghetti’ and ‘Johnny Goodbye’ ranking among the classics of Belgian and Dutch comic history.
