FranceInfo Releases Finalists for Graphic Journalism Prize

FranceInfo has announced their 10 finalists for their Prix de la bande dessinée d’actualité et de reportage (award for current affairs and reportage comics AKA graphic journalism). The prize has been awarded since 1994.

This year’s finalists (with Google translation)

  • On ne parle pas de ces choses-là, by Marine Courtade and Alexandra Petit (translation: “We are not talking about these things“)
  • Nous sommes la voix de celles qui n’en ont plus, by Paola Guzzo and Cécile Rousset (We are the voice of those who no longer have one)
  • Là où tu vas, voyage au pays de la mémoire qui flanche, by Etienne Davodeau (Where you go, travel to the land of the flinching memory,)
  • Mon ami Kim Jong-Un by Keum Suk Gendry-Kim (My friend Kim Jong-Un)
  • On a mangé la mer, by Maxime de Lisle and Olivier Martin (We ate the sea)

  • Brigade Babylone by Pauline Guéna and Mahi Grand (Babylon Brigade)

The winner will be announced in mid-January.
