The Mercury brags about their own (or here):

Celebrated Mercury cartoonist Kev Bailey was inducted into the Australian Cartooning Hall of Fame at the 41st Annual Stan Cross Awards held at Hadley’s Oriental Hotel on Saturday night.

For a quarter of a century, Mr Bailey’s daily cartoons entertained Mercury readers, tackling issues of the day from state and federal politics to world news, including man’s first steps on the moon, the collapse of the Berlin Wall, and the Gulf War.

Nominated for 2025 Cartoonist of the Year were:

Matt Golding

Paul Harvey

Judy Nadin

David Pope

David Rowe

Taking The 2025 Stan Cross Award for Cartoonist of the Year was David Rowe.

Congratulations to David Rowe and all the winners and nominees.
