When I hear Mark Trail canon I think Ed Dodd canon. Turns out to be earlier this year Jules Rivera canon.
There was a time, way before your time Dear Reader, when an insert called Parade was an ever-present part of Sunday newspapers. And during its most pervasive period it contained a cartoon column call Laugh Parade which featured the cartoons of Bill Hoest. A popular character that appeared there every week was Howard Huge.

Joey had one heck of a two day growth spurt in Dennis the Menace this past week.
And the occasional huge thick lines in closeups that I like showed up in Blondie this past week.
