The 2025 San Diego Comic-Con Souvenir Book Starring Peanuts

The folks at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) have released the souvenir book of the event and as has been their habit for the past several years they have kindly made it available to all by way of a free pdf issue.
As seen it cover features the 75th anniversary of the Peanuts gang with Charles M. Schulz drawings of a couple dozen of the comic strip’s characters including Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, Lucy, Woodstock, and more as provided to the SDCC by Peanuts Worldwide (did Paige Braddock create the montage?).
update: Paige Braddock says the “Peanuts montage was created by Vanessa Germosen” (see comments), Vanessa is “VP, Creative” for Peanuts Worldwide.

The Peanuts cover is backed up by a seven page history of the comic strip and its creator by Michael Cavna.
Other articles include another seven pages about The New Yorker cartoonists (100 years) by New Yorker cartoonist and historian Michael Maslin and a four page account of Gary Larson (75 years old next month) and The Far Side by Jake Morrissey, Larson’s editor at Universal Press Syndicate (now Andrews McMeel Syndication).

MIchael Maslin informs us that gremlins got into the material between his sending it and the SDCC Souvenir Book printing it resulting in a few paragraphs having gone missing. He provides the missing text.

And, of course, there are articles about the comic books the Comic-Con is all about: DC Comics Strange Adventures (75 years); Tarzan creator Edgar Rice Burroughs (born 150 years ago); the All-New Uncanny X-Men (50 years); Moon Knight (50 years); the Spider-Man clone (50 years); and EC Comics Tales From The Crypt (75 years).

Also are thumbnail biographies of the many special guests, the nominees for the 2025 Eisner Awards are listed, and the far too extensive In Memoriam pages.
