The Beginning of the End of the Year Brings Editorial Cartoon Picks from the Year 2023

The end of the year always brings editorial cartoonists and newspapers selecting cartoons from the past year to present as some of their best. With 2023 ending on a Sunday that would seem the perfect day to publish such reviews.

Some have already presented their cartoon choices for 2023.

Political cartoonist Jon Richards has an old school style but a new school sensibility.

The Chattanooga Times Free Press has put their Top Free Press editorial cartoons of 2023 online.

The Times Free Press announced that those selected Michael Ramirez and Lisa Benson editorial cartoons will be available in print as the “Times cartoons of the year will be published next Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023.”

Joe Heller offers newspapers a nice illustration to go with his top picks.

I think this Duluth News Tribune page is available on a one time basis before having to register.
