The National Cartoonists Society has announced the nominees for their 77th annual Reuben Award which celebrates and honors The Cartoonist of the Year for 2022.
The nominees are:
Bill Griffith (Zippy the Pinhead)
Will Henry (Wallace the Brave)
Hilary B. Price (Rhymes With Orange)
Jeff Smith (Bone)
Mark Tatulli (Liò)
Henry and Smith are freshman nominees, the other have multiple nominations to their names.

As much as I admire the work of the other nominees it is well past time Bill Griffith was recognized with this honour.
