Comic Strip of the Day

CSotD: ohgodjustmakeitstop

Not just "breaking with format" today but actually violating the Prime Directive. I don't like these cartoons, and some of them are by cartoonists I like a lot.

But c'mon, man.

Look, I ran an early one by Pat Oliphant. Even then (a week ago) I said the analogy was strained, and further developments have made it even less valid.

TippiBut valid or invalid, there's a point where you can't rack it up to coincidence anymore.

Yeah, I ran one. Tippi Hedren brought a bird along with her to Bodega Bay, too, and then learned that she needn't have bothered.

Me and Tippi. Tippi and me.

  1. At east Lavery seems to acknowledge that Nixoon was From That Other Party That Controls the House (or, as Ronald Reagan referred to it, “The Party of Lincoln!” I think he was thinking of a Continental.)

  2. Zero from Toles, and *two* from Ramirez. Quelle surprise.
