CSotD: Cartoon Classic: One classy dame

I wasn't drawn to my father's copy of "Male Call" as early as I was to his small collection of figure studies. I guess the subtlety of Miss Lace is wasted on those whose lust is — or remains — at a six-year-old level.
One classy dame, however, and Milton Caniff did a lot with Lace that he wasn't able to do stateside with his other comic pinups. Hey, there's got to be some benefits to being in the service besides cheap cigarettes.
By the way, when I say "classy," I mean this was a gal who didn't lose her poise or dignity just because she was a hot number. But maybe you have to watch a few Ann Sheridan movies before you get it.
And there aren't a lot of six-year-olds of any age camped out in front of Netflix streaming Ann Sheridan movies.
