Comic Strip of the Day

CSotD: Joker and Lex

Definitely click on this for the larger version of a brilliant parody.

Strictly speaking, this isn't a comic strip, since it is in the current issue of Superman/Batman, but it kind of qualifies as a web comic because it is rapidly spreading across the Internet. The fact that it made the comic book, I guess, means it doesn't have the blessing of Bill Watterson but at least has the blessings of DC Comics, so somebody recognized its quality. You rarely see parody that manages to hit so well on both the target of the gag and the topic being used to provide the out-of-context humor.

Anyway, it's a good day for disjointed laughter. In the world of C&H reruns, I was pretty amused by the fact that this old strip happened to pop into the schedule on the day Glenn Beck is having his rally. It's like nailing him with a random shot while looking through a mirror and standing on your head.
