This Loose Parts gag wouldn't work if the bears were in the water helping him catch fish, or showing him how to do it better.

Although there are other internship experiences that could be translated into different gags — like him coming out of the woods with a roll of toilet paper saying, "Okay, I'm three-quarters of the way through my internship and I really, really think I've got that part down. When are you going to show me how to catch fish?"

My experience in the business world has got me pretty much convinced that the internships that work best are the spontaneous ones where the student and the boss decide it would be a good thing and then have to go persuade the school to extend credit for it. But since a recent grad can't get a job without having served an internship, well, roll up your pants legs and start slappin' fish, kid.
