National Cartoonist Society announces nominees for Outstanding Cartoonist of the Year

The National Cartoonist Society has announced the nominees for the 2014 Reuben Award for Outstanding Cartoonist of the Year. The nominees are New Yorker cartoonist Roz Chast, Pearls Before Swine creator Stephan Pastis and Rhymes with Orange creator Hilary Price.

This is Roz’s first nomination for the Reuben; Stephan has been nominated 52 times (actually, seven); and this is Hilary’s second nomination nod. The winner will be announced at this year’s Reuben Award weekend on May 23rd in Washington DC.
