The Scott Adams Principle

On Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2026, an authorized biography of Dilbert cartoonist and political influencer Scott Adams will be released, Scott Adams: A Life of Persuasion and Principle is published by Scott Adams, Inc.

The Amazon blurb claims, “Scott Adams was and is the most influential personal development writer of all time.”

The book is written by far right writer, and influencer in his own right as currently the opinion editor of the California Post, Joel B. Pollak, described as “Scott’s dear friend” who wrote the book at Adams’ request before his death early this year.

So who better to write a profile of the cartoonist and de facto book review than the author himself.

Today the New York Post, mother of the California Post, printed “Adams Family Values” a two page spread about Scott Adams by Pollak, posted online as “How Scott Adams built his empire of influence.”

“Adams Family Values” by Joel Pollak, New York Post – Nov. 8, 2026

Effusive in its praise of Adams, and by extension Trump, this is not a fair and balanced report. Pollak credits Adams for easing tensions on the Korean Peninsula and also as “one of the most powerful voices in American politics.”

“The Prime Influencer, in Scott’s story, was an ordinary person who could change the world through the simple act of sharing seemingly ordinary ideas that ripple outward to move civilizations. Scott’s fictional Prime Influencer could even stop wars and bring about peace.”

“Was it him? Scott himself?”
