It is check-in day today, the fun and games start tomorrow.

The Association of American Editorial Cartoonists (AAEC) has posted the schedule for their 2026 convention.

Friday’s featured speakers included AAEC President Marc Murphy (Welcome and The Future), David Horsey (Surviving), Clay Jones (Continuing Despite Health Issues), Chip Bok (Press Freedom), and Steve Artley (On Retirement).

Saturday sees Ben Sargent (Feature Speaker), Mark Fiore (Chat GPT), Lalo Alcaraz (Feature Speaker), Ann Telnaes (Dialogue), “Anger Management” (a panel featuring Jack Ohman, Joel Pett, Steve Brodner, Ann Telnaes), Awards (John Locher, Rex Babin, Ink Bottle) take the stage.

Sunday is The Crocker Con as cartoonists and fans gather at the Crocker Art Museum for a day of fellowship.
