On April 17, 1926 Editor and Publisher celebrated the 32nd anniversary of newspaper comics with a comic supplement featuring specially created comic strips for the 1926 Newspaper Convention. The contributing cartoonist were Edward Grinham, Merrill Blosser, Burt Thomas, Frank King, Sidney Smith, Frank Godwin, J. R. Williams, Rube Goldberg, C. W. Kahles, Frank Willard, Bud Fisher, Marjorie Henderson, Harold Gray, Winsor McCay, H. T. Webster, George Swanson, Gene Carr, Martin Branner, Fred Locher, Clare Briggs, Rudolph Dirks, H. J. Tuthill, andHy Gage.

  1. What a marvellous collection! Even if the basic premise of the strips was often very similar, it was a lot of fun reading them all. Thanks for all the effort it must have taken to collate them all.
