Lakes International Comic Arts Festival Announces Dates, Special Guest Bill Sienkiewicz

Lakes International Comic Arts Festival (LICAF) has announced a number of updates head of this year’s festival. The British festival launched a new website, logo, poster, and this year’s special guest Bill Sienkiewicz.
Bill, a classically-trained painter, is a multi-Eisner Award-winning and Emmy Award-nominated artist. His career includes creating work for both Marvel and DC, Disney, FX, PBS, co-creating the character David Haller AKA “Legion”, advertising campaigns for Nike, MTV and Nissan, and created the acclaimed graphic novel Stray Toasters in 1988.
He also created the poster art for this year’s LICAF festival.
This year’s festival will be held this October 3-4 in Kendal. Early bird tickets can be purchased.
