Comic Strip of the Day

CSotD: The highest form of humor is the funny kind

Speedbump
There are people who hate puns, but I've never understood that. I generally don't like bad puns that force you to mispronounce a word to make the joke work, and a long, involved pun is better than a short one. In most cases. But not always.

In today's Speed Bump, Dave Coverly makes a short pun that not only involves proper pronunciation but melds a pair of Comedy Hall of Fame-level comic icons — the boomerang and the pie-in-the-face.

To which I say, "wow."
