CSotD: Wouldn’t it be a “certificate of falsity”?

Edison

John Hambrock's The Brilliant Mind of Edison Lee has not been around terribly long, which makes it remarkable in that it's one of the few strips to come out in the past 5 years that hasn't included minimal graphics and a misanthropic animal as its lead character. But there is another thread in emerging strips like Edison Lee and "Dog Eat Doug" that draw some inspiration from Calvin and Hobbes without aping it and that provide a pretty steady flow of chuckles along the way.

I'd just like to point out that, if the Franklin Mint ever wanted to take over Edison's idea, the guy they are named for could provide a pretty good start to the collection himself.

And I've always loved the "certificates of authenticity." Yes, it's really a piece of cheesy dreck. Accept no substitutes.
